Open House - Updated!
It's almost time to celebrate! On Saturday, January 30th, we will be hosting an open house to celebrate our first year at Village Home. We'll be offering discounts, a fun prize drawing, wine, and light refreshments from 6:00-9:00PM. Hope to see you then!

It Only Feels Like Snow
Well, if it snowed, I didn't see it. We did have some really icy rain though, which doesn't happen much here. You could see the little drops of ice on the pavement, but they melted almost as soon as you touched them. They were not flakes of snow, but maybe hail? Sleet? I'm from Florida, so this is really out of any of my areas of knowledge. Despite this frigid weather, we have not shared very many cups of hot cocoa today, but we'll keep offering them until the weather warms up a bit.

Santiago Huckelberry and Snow (!?!)
We have more pretty Voluspa candles! Our newest scent is Santiago Huckelberry, very pleasant and berry-ish without being too fruity. It is in a cute purple tin. I admit, I initially ordered it because I thought we could use more purple. Luckily I ended up loving the scent too. Also, we now have the French Cade and Lavender candle in a mini-tin. It is adorable and smells just as crisp and clean as the original.
Some of the weather forecasts are predicting that we might see snow flurries tomorrow, not something you see very often in central Florida. I guess this should only make it easier to sell cozy throws and robes and candles, right? To combat the cold weather, we will be offering hot cocoa to our visitors tomorrow, so come on out and enjoy our weird weather!

Where in the World
We have a new project for 2010! Next time you visit Village Home, check out our world map and place a pin in your hometown. So far, besides the Space Coast, we have had visitors from Ohio, Oregon, and Canada. We're hoping to see pins on six continents soon!

New Year, New Sale!
Happy New Year! It's time for new sales! We have reduced prices on all of our baby blankets just in time for this cold weather we're experiencing.
